March 3 Shakespeare Fans Won’t Want to Miss “King Charles III” at Sidney Harmn Hall February 7th—March 12th

If you’re a fan of Shakespearean plays, modern history and the British Monarchy, you won't want to miss King Charles III at Sidney Harmn Hall from February 7th through March 12th. The theatre is less than two miles from Residences on the Avenue in the Penn Quarter neighborhood.

King Charles III takes places in the very near, fictional future, after Queen Elizabeth has died. The story follows Prince Charles as he ascends upon the throne after a lifetime of waiting to be crowned King. The play follows along with all of the members of the British Monarchy and the impact of the new king’s reign. The play is written mostly in Shakespearean blank verse, which is rare outside of traditional plays written by Shakespeare himself. The run time of the show is two hours and 40 minutes, and tickets are on sale for performances through March 12th.
