Drama fans in the D.C. area won't want to miss the classic Phantom of the Opera at the John F. Kennedy Center this month. This brand new tour features new takes on the longtime favorite theater staple, all set to the beloved score featuring popular songs like "Music of the Night" and "Masquerade".
The Phantom of the Opera will run from July 13 thorugh August 20, and it will feature a 52-piece orchestra and incredible cast. Brand new scene design from Paul Brown, Tony Ward-winning costume design by Maria Bjornson, lighting design by Tony Award winner Paule Constable, new choreography by Scott Ambler, and a new staging by director Laurence Connor make the production a sight that you have to see to believe. There will also be amazing special effects and, of course, the show's famous chandelier.
