There is no better place to celebrate the 4th of July than right from your couch when you tune into PBS’s A Capitol Fourth. Actor John Stamos is back this year to host this all-star salute to America’s independence, and features star-studded performances and incredible views of the greatest fireworks display in the nation.
Twenty cameras will be positioned around Washington DC to capture every bit of the fireworks display, as A Capitol Fourth broadcasts live from the West Lawn of the US Capitol. The year’s performers include The Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffet, Pentatonix, and over a dozen more acts that are sure to have everyone in the family singing and dancing along. The US Army Band “Pershing’s Own” and the Herald Trumpets will bring a touching and memorable tone to the evening as you celebrate all our great country holds dear. A Capitol Fourth premieres live on PBS on July 4th.
