D.C.'s Little Serow is perhaps one of the city's best Thai eateries. The food here is a little unusual, and perhaps that's what makes it so good, as they use recipes that hail from the extreme northern part of Thailand, and are not typically what you'll find at your average Thai restaurant. The chefs are truly talented, and the preparations are delicious, making Little Serow a place that diners line up for. Try the prix fixe for $45, and you can indulge in the weekly menu of assorted dishes that comprise a Thai family-style feast, which might include Pork Ribs with dill and Mekhong whiskey; Chicken with turmeric and fermented cabbage; and Catfish with shallots. If you're wondering what's on the menu, check their website, as it's updated regularly to reflect what's fresh and in season. Keep in mind that reservations aren’t taken at Little Serow – so, you just have to show up, put your name in, and they’ll text you when your table’s ready. For a great night of Thai cuisine not far from Residences on the Avenue, Little Serow is the way to go!
