The pastry chefs at The Fairmont in Georgetown are used to crafting decadent treats for humans, but in honor of the Howl-O-Ween Trick or Treating for Dogs event on October 30th, they’ll use their talents a bit differently. The team is hard at work whipping up batches of peanut butter doggie biscuits for the dog-friendly event.

Come to the courtyard of The Fairmont at 6 p.m. on the 30th with your pup in tow, and he can enjoy as many of the artisan treats as he can handle. Then let him grab a drink from one of the doggy fountains sprinkled throughout the courtyard while you grab a Flying Dog Dogtober Fest beer from the bar ($5). If your dog has one of the cutest costumes in the herd, you could win an overnight stay at The Fairmont or one of many other prizes. The fun lasts until 7:30 p.m.
